What is the advantage of meteoblue?

Meteoblue provides additional data compared to YR such as global radiation which is used in the thinning model but also other models to estimate insect temperature on the tree or spore mortality when exposed to radiations. It also corrects the weather forecast data based on the altitude and the wind (for leaf wetness calculations). The rain forecasts are also adapted with the rain radars. As a consequence, it tends to be more precise in mountainous regions (such as Switzerland) than YR.
