What are the mandatory sensors to make RIMpro work?

Air Temperature : Average air temperature in °Celsius, measured with a shielded sensor at 1.5 to 2.0 meter height. Preferably in the crop canopy.

Air Humidity : In %, measured with a shielded sensor at 1.5 to 2.0 meter height. Preferably in the crop canopy.

Rain : Accumulated rainfall in mm. Resolution 0.2 mm or lower.

Leaf Wetness (one or two sensor) : Number of minutes of leaf wetness. Observed with a leaf wetness sensor in a shaded part of the crop canopy.

You can also add as an option, a sensor of soil surface temperature. In °Celsius, measured with a shielded sensor at 0.05 to 0.10 meter height.

Don’t forget that you need weather data since 1st of January (or 1st of July in the Southern Hemisphere), otherwise the models won’t work correctly. If you don’t have a complete weather data file since 1st of January, please contact us at support@rimpro.eu
